Your work stays yours

This page is maintained by Contenter to explain how we handle the data you give us. It's plain English, not a legal contract — the binding terms live on the Terms page.

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email and (optionally) your display name. When you sign a piece of content we store the title, description, content type, tags, public URL, creation date, and the cryptographic signature you generate in your browser.

What we never see

We do not receive, store, or process your original files. Signatures are generated locally in your browser and only the resulting hash leaves your device.

How we use it

We use your data to operate the service: render your dashboard, issue certificates, run web monitoring on URLs you ask us to monitor, and send transactional email about your account and matches.

Sharing

We don't sell your data. We share it with infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) strictly to run the service, and with law enforcement only when legally required.

Your controls

You can export or delete your data at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing privacy@contenter.app. Account deletion removes your signatures and metadata within 30 days.
