By using Contenter you agree to these terms. They're written to be straightforward — read them carefully.
The service
Contenter lets you generate cryptographic signatures for digital content you create, store metadata about that content, and request monitoring and takedown assistance. We provide the service on an as-is basis with reasonable effort to keep it available.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything that happens under your account. Don't share accounts, don't impersonate anyone, and don't sign content you don't have the right to claim.
Acceptable use
Don't use Contenter to claim ownership of content you didn't create, to file fraudulent takedowns, or to harass third parties. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the platform.
Billing
Free plans are free forever. Paid plans renew monthly until you cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't issue prorated refunds.
Liability
Contenter is a tooling and infrastructure provider, not a law firm. Signatures and certificates are evidence you can present, but we don't guarantee any specific legal outcome. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email and in-app. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
